GM Military Discount Program

The discount amount varies by model, trim, and customized package options. The GM Military Discount can be viewed online at GM Financial or on hard copy at Pohanka Chevrolet.

The discount is applied to the purchase or lease eligible vehicles at a special discounted price that is below MSRP. As a buying guide, the program helps determine the final price of the vehicle based on the model and trim, any stand-alone options that are included, and any package options that determine the final sticker price.

Qualifications

The program is offered to all members of the military on active duty, their immediate family members, and all recent retirees or veterans with honorable discharges. This includes members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.

National Guard members and members of the military reserve are also eligible. Retirees and veterans are eligible if discharge has occurred within the past three years.

Applicants will need to bring their authorization number, along with a copy of their driver’s license with the license number redacted. At Pohanka Chevrolet, the financing advisors can help with this.

Not all vehicles on the dealer lot are listed as eligible for the discount, and the discount amount varies by vehicle, but the sales reps at Pohanka Chevrolet can assist with finding the right discount on the model of choice.
