“ I dropped my vehicle off on January 21st at approximately 10:00 AM requesting an oil change, the 60,000-mile recommended maintenance, and diagnosis/repair of a check engine light caused by a coolant flow control valve issue. At drop-off, I clearly stated that I needed the vehicle returned the same day in order to pick up my child from daycare. I also explained that I was willing to return another day for the oil change or 60k service if needed. I was explicitly told there would be no issue completing all requested work by 4–5 PM. That commitment was not met. I received no proactive communication throughout the day and had to call multiple times for updates, even after being told I would receive a call back. Late in the day, I was informed that only the oil change had been completed. I picked up the vehicle around 5:00 PM. I then scheduled another appointment through the Chevrolet App for January 22nd at 9:30 AM to complete the coolant control valve repair and the 60k maintenance. Once again, I clearly explained that I required same-day vehicle return due to childcare obligations and was assured there would be no issue. Once again, I received no communication. When I called for a status update around 3:00 PM, I was told the technician did not arrive until approximately 2:00 PM and was asked whether I wanted repairs to begin. Given my stated need for the vehicle that evening, I declined. By the end of January 22nd, my vehicle had been at the dealership for two full days, with only an oil change completed, despite a scheduled appointment and repeated assurances. No paperwork was provided at pickup. On January 23rd, the vehicle began overheating, forcing me to drop it off again. I was clear that my only request was to have the vehicle returned before an incoming snowstorm. Once again, I was assured there would be no problem completing the repairs that day. Once again, there were no proactive updates. I repeatedly called starting around 4:00 PM and was told each time that someone would check on the vehicle and call me back. No one ever did. The completion time was first stated as 5:00 PM, then pushed to 7:00 PM. At that point, the service advisor asked whether I would “give all 10s” on the survey because the repairs were supposedly completed. I agreed in good faith, believing the situation was finally resolved. However, I arrived at the dealership at 6:30 PM for a 7:00 PM pickup and was not able to leave until midnight. I was also told the 60k maintenance had been completed, yet the paperwork does not clearly document that the service was performed, and I was not charged for it. This raises serious concerns about whether the work was actually completed. After three days, multiple missed commitments, repeated false assurances, and a complete lack of communication, I have lost confidence in this dealership’s ability to service my vehicle in a professional and reliable manner. The issue was not workload or parts availability — it was poor communication, inaccurate information, and repeated failure to honor commitments. This experience was unacceptable and does not meet the standard of professionalism I expect from a Chevrolet dealership. ”
